Höckh's Multi Clean is going strong

With 30 years of metal cleaning experience behind it, Höckh has installed over 600 plants under the Multi Clean brand.
The Höckh system is totally sealed and works under vacuum, allowing solvents to work under reduced temperature and perform consistently on parts with various types of oils concentrations, complex shapes and high throughput demands. Höckh’s speciality is building customised cleaning plants from small to large chambers, all based on standardised modules.
The Multi Clean 1-4F, which will form part of the IB Industries display at MACH 2008, has a working envelope of 500mm x 300mm x 200mm. It will clean and degrease parts at a rate between five to ten charges per hour with stages of spray, immersion, ultrasonic, vapour and a drying phase, while also having the ability to rotate or oscillate parts at any stage. Multiple filtration and oil distillation keeps the solvent free from contamination and, by using the touch screen, all processes are easily controlled. Additional devices such as auto basket transfer system, auto closing basket system and parts recognition ensure the efficient delivery of parts to the machine.
Featuring stainless steel construction allied to high quality welding procedures, the Höckh system also includes fluid management facilities that can be interconnected with the SAFE-TAINER system provided by SAFECHEM, a subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company.
