The Nikon iNEXIV VMA-2520TP multi-sensor measuring system features laser-based video measurement and the Renishaw TP20 touch-trigger probing system. As the touch probe allows 3D contact measurements to be made using the same simple-to-use multi-sensor machine as non-contact optical and laser measurements, it can significantly reduce overall measuring times.

The touch probe provides maximum versatility when working on 3D workpieces, and comes preinstalled with the iNEXIV VMA-2520TP or can be purchased separately. By creating more accurate datum planes, it improves measurement and repeatability accuracy during rapid QC checks and demanding R&D work on side wall and prismatic 3D metal, plastic and rubber parts, as well as more complex medical device assemblies.

The iNEXIV VMA-2520TP, which is the second smallest member of a family of seven versatile video measuring systems, combines a 250 x 200mm stage with a 200mm Z-axis stroke, while still requiring minimal bench space. It boasts a very generous working distance and, to meet industry demand for superior resolution at high magnifications and wide viewing fields, 10x zoom optics as standard. It comes with easy-to-use AutoMeasure software, but can be customised with plug-in software modules for applications such as CAD data, and 2D profiling.
