With the new servo motor, even the self-cooled version has an overload withstand capability of four times the standstill torque M0.The first generation of 1FT7 are self-cooled motors with shaft heights ranging from 48 to 100mm.
Depending on type and version, rated speed range is 1500 to 6000rev/min, rated power is 0.85 to 10.5kW and rated static torque 3 to 70Nm.In field weakening mode, it can be additionally expanded with inverters from the Sinamics S120 series.
Machines can therefore be used over an expanded load range and are consequently more productive.A newly developed encoder coupling protects the incremental encoders against shock loads on the motor shaft, which significantly increases the expected service life of the encoder.
The cross profile of the new motors enables simple installation even from the rear. A rotatable connector with fast locking simplifies connection and cable laying in all installation positions, helping to reduce installation and service times.
Compared to its predecessor series 1FT6, the length of the 1FT7 has been reduced by almost one third. At the same time, both models are compatible with regard to installation, connections and characteristic curves. So there is no problem in replacing the previous model with the 1FT7.
