Mayfran acquires UK firm

Mayfran International, global manufacturer of engineered factory automation systems and components, has expanded its product and service capabilities with the acquisition of Bolton-based Hardman Maintenance Engineering.

The firm will be appointed the Mayfran Group’s new competence centre for vacuum swarf handling technology. Located at Bury, near Manchester, the new facility will be opened on 15th April this year.

This acquisition provides Mayfran International with both new product capabilities, and better resources to service its customers in the United Kingdom. Hardman Maintenance Engineering has particular product expertise in the design and deployment of vacuum swarf handling systems, especially for machining operations in aerospace environments.

Hardman will be integrated with the existing Mayfran operations in the UK, where the new member now acts as ‘vacuum swarf handling technology’ competence centre for the entire Mayfran group.
