Free advice on business expansion in Brittany

On Stand G10 at Subcon, Bretagne International will be offering free help – and a glass of Champange – to companies that want to expand their business in France.

Bretagne International is the economic development agency for Brittany and will be exhibiting alongside 5 Breton subcontractors. In addition to supporting local businesses, its role is to help UK and overseas companies to expand their business in this French region.

For companies that are thinking of moving into the French market, but don’t know where to start, Subcon offers an ideal chance to discuss the possibilities, said Laurence Gros, host of the French Pavilion at Subcon, who works with Bretagne International to introduce UK companies to the Brittany Region.

Assistance could involve anything from new sales or manufacturing sites, to collaborative partners and research. Laurence Gros Ltd is based on STAND G5 and will be pleased to discuss visitors’ French connections. Free-of-charge services on offer include organizing business meetings; analyzing the availability, skills and costs of the local workforce; and help with hiring personnel as well as explaining the incentives and financial assistance available.

Gros Ltd can also provide advice on company structures, taxation and employment law, introduce banks and venture capital companies for raising finance and legal advisers for company foundation. It can also propose possible office and manufacturing facilities, help expatriate families set up home in Brittany, and provide other tailor-made facilities according to a company’s specific needs.

These services are provided free of charge thanks to funding from the Breton regional government to promote economic development and employment in the region.
