The number of MACH 2008 visitors coming through the doors of the show in its first four days of opening are up 21% on the same days for the last show held in 2006.

The increase is a welcome sign for many manufacturing technologies companies who might have feared that the credit crunch and general economic climate might have discouraged expenditure on new machines. Visitor numbers to MACH 2008 and general feedback on sales at the show would suggest a positive outlook for the industry.

At last count the number of vistors to the show was 20,335 visitors.
