Demonstration bus comes to UK

Shear-Form Machine Tools, UK representative for Haeger Inc, is bringing Haeger’s new demonstration bus to the United Kingdom in May.

The bus is expected to visit the north of England, the Midlands and the south. It is fully equipped to carry out live demonstrations of the latest Haeger insertion press technology.

Demonstrations will include the 824 WindowTouch version 3 with automatic tooling for M3 stand-offs being used on small components. The 824 OneTouch version 3 will also be demonstrating the insertion of M3 stand offs, M3 nuts, M4 nuts and M4 studs on larger components.

A wide range of different tooling equipment will also be on board Clive Meir, of Shear-Form, said: “This is the first time that Haeger has sent one of their demonstration buses to the UK and it gives us a great opportunity to take Haeger insertion press technology out into the market so that interested parties can visit and see live demonstrations. The itinerary is not fully finalised as we are asking customers and interested parties if they would like us to make on site visits. Visitors are being encouraged to bring their own parts to see how Haeger can help improve their production techniques and save on production time.”
